C.E.N.'s Original Comments:
" It seems there is a man out there who claims he is unbeatable. He has been a World Heavyweight Champion for over a
year. This man goes by the name John "Powerslave" Layfield. He claims there is no competition for him. Well let me tell you
Powerslave, why don't you walk your carcus down to BCW and we will give you competition. You think you have beaten them all
but there's one man you havn't beat in your career and that man is C.E.N. You want a match? You want competition? Well look
no further! I am personally inviting you to come down and attend a BCW event. I am inviting you to put your xTw Title on the
line if you have the balls to do it! And if you don't, well then I will make sure I attend your little Pay-Per-View called
Slamboree and beat your ass for the title! Consider this a challenge Powerslave! Read our motto: If you don't like us......fight
us!!!!"
Powerslave & xTw held their own news conference later that afternoon. Here is what Powerslave had
to say:
"C.e.N. You think you're pretty funny don't ya? Challenging me? Who are you kidding? What do you weigh? About a buck
40 soaking wet? But, I gotta give ya props. Ya got guts challenging me. So I'll tell you what. You make your way to the xTw
Arena on July 22. At the start of the show, I'm calling you out. When you don't show up, we will see then that you're all
talk. And should you come after that, you will get the opportunity to see a REAL wrestler defend the World Title. One thing
is for sure, you got guts. And because you got guts, I accept your challenge C.E.N. Show up at Slamboree, and you get a match
for my title. Trust me when I say this, C.E.N., the title will stay where it belongs!"
Contacted a few days later for further comment, a man of few words, Powerslave said this:
"C.E.N. I will limb you, knock you down, and destroy you. You will be a distant memory of BCW faithful. The belt will
stay where it belongs, and I will mutilate you, because I am unbeatable. I am the King Of Kings!!!!"
This war is certainly heating up, and things will not get much cooler as Slamboree approaches, where Powerslave
